microphone in impeccable condition, both physically and operationally.
They just don't come any better. It turned up during
a recent inventory, languishing on a shelf in our warehouse. We
purchased this mic in October 1980... What you are seeing here are images
of the actual microphone and accessories that we are selling.
They are un-retouched. Everything
is in excellent condition... a 9.0 out of 10.
The element or cartridge supplied by Electro-Voice with this microphone is the CS15E Single-d element. Back in the day, three (3) other elements were interchangable: CH15E Hypercardiod, CO15E Omnidirectional and CL42E Cardiline® (shotgun style) element. The CS15P is a favorite of producers,
engineers and artists in many recording, broadcast studios
and on stage. Being
a true Single D cardioid mike, the CS15P offers maximum
audio rejection at 180º off axis. The on-axis proximity
effect provides distance dependant low frequency response, with
the maximum level produced near the capsule.

The CS15E must be powered from any remote source from 8 to 50
VDC including 48 VDC phantom power from many mixing consoles.
Included is the original brown E-V
pencil case style carrying pouch, the #312A mic stand clamp and all of the original paperwork.
NOT included is the #315A foam windscreen.
